450 g cleaned prawns

4 tablespoons olive oil

1 teaspoon honey

1 teaspoon lime juice

Zest of one lime

½ teaspoon salt

¼ teaspoon ground black pepper

½ tablespoon ground sweet paprika

A pinch of cayenne pepper

2 cloves of garlic

A few sprigs of thyme


In a small bowl, mix together olive oil, honey, lime juice, lime zest, salt, black pepper, ground sweet paprika, cayenne pepper, crushed garlic, and thyme leaves.

Pour the marinade over the cleaned prawns and let them marinate for 30 minutes.

Meanwhile, preheat the Glowen oven to approximately 230°C (450°F).

Cook the prawns in an uncovered cast-iron skillet for 4-5 minutes. Then, stir them and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until they are nicely golden brown.
